Over Christmas, a
group of lucky ladies were given the chance to attend an exciting trip to the
magical Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, to experience all the glitter and glitz
of the festive season.
Hosted by Costa Bingo, the event brought together a
wonderful set of young mummy bloggers together for a fantastic get together
that meant Christmas really did come early for some. Not only were the mummy
bloggers treated to the Wonderland itself, but Zippo’s Circus was in town and
provided some much-loved entertainment for the family. All parties, both young
and old, were enthralled by the aerialists and various acts, who razzled and
dazzled with tricks and turns.
The bloggers were
so enraptured that many of them took to their blogs to post elated accounts of
their experiences. A memorable event was
of course the circus. But the bloggers were impressed with a variety of
offerings at the event. With just a few to illustrate the breadth of
experiences, the event was enjoyed for all sorts of reasons.
Mummy Be Beautiful adored the circus and
found if full of the fun and festive spirit they were looking for over
Christmas. However, a simple wander over to the Christmas market inside Winter
Wonderland let them soak up some more magic.
Victoria’s Vintage and her family were most
impressed with the ice skating on the Ice Age 4 ice ring inside Winter
Wonderland. The beautiful ice rink is set around a Victorian bandstand, and on
the night had the band playing for full Christmas spirit. The ice rink is
illuminated with over 100,000 pea-lights which helped to create the night time,
fairy tale setting.
London Rose and her family really enjoyed
The Ice Kingdom, mostly because of its beautiful and eerie feel. Cold and icy,
they warned fellow bloggers to wrap up against the winter freeze that grips
once there.
It was the
perfect Christmas gift, with all the lights and thrill of the season and all
the fun of the fair for the family.
I am glad they all enjoyed it, and am very sad that we missed out as the children were ill. I definitely have it penciled in for next year!!

We went to Winterwonderland this year and we had a blast, it hasn't felt like Christmas at all until we went there! We went ice skating, a trip to ice kingdom and then warmed up with hot chocolate around a huge log burner, there were lots of stalls around selling different food and drinks. It really did feel quite magical and hope to go back next year and I am going to hunt out the carousel bar as it looked awesome x
