I have recently been introduced to Costcuttersuk.com who are an established, family business with over 30 years experience in the education business.
Their website is bulging with so many products, all set out in easy to locate tabs meaning you visit to look at one thing and get drawn to many others, but the best thing is they are often the cheapest.
Last year I did the Insect Lore Butterfly experiment with the kids and they got so much out of it I wanted to do something similar this year. I spotted the Insect Lore Living Twig - Stick Insect Kit on their site and comparing it with other stockists, they were by far the cheapest - even compared to Amazon!
The kit arrived with a couple of days and I have now sent off for my Indian Stick Insect eggs which will hopefully arrive within a few days so we can get going. I am looking forward to sharing our results with you.
The other item I found, which I was searching for all last summer is the Ladybird Tower so I ordered one of those too.
Both Isaac and Eliza adore Ladybirds and we often go hunting for them in plants or grass in the summer. This natural habitat is constructed from solid Birch, Oak or Larch timber for durability.
It comes with a ground pole at the bottom so is easy to site in your lawn, flowerbed or even planters. I couldn't believe how easy it was - hubby had visions of attaching to the garden shed!
If you are looking for toys with that educational edge, definitely give CostcuttersUK a visit. I have bookmarked their site for the future.
