Sacrifice

As a parent, no one really appreciates how much you actually sacrifice.  From sleep to going out or even just being able to pop to the shops without it being a military operation.

Last week I made the ultimate sacrifice!

I gave up my ticket to the FA Cup final at Wembley so my husband could take our son!

I love football!

I love the atmosphere, the banter, the thrill of the game but we just don’t go often enough.  I won two tickets to the FA Cup final by predicting the Chelsea v QPR score and couldn’t have been happier.  But Kian immediately assumed he was going and I couldn’t disappoint him!

So, whilst hubby and Kian sang and cheered at Wembley I was at home with the two littlies watching it on the TV.  Not quite the same, but we had fun nonetheless – and just look at how happy Kian is!

He hasn’t removed that scarf since the game!

They brought back flags for Eliza and Isaac, so they were happy!

But flags don’t cut it with me my dear boys – you owe your mummy / wife big time!!
