Cybher – Getting there!

I had been uber excited to be going to Cybher for weeks (if you hadn’t guessed already) and finally the day had arrived.

I woke before my alarm at 5am and snuck around the house getting ready so as not to wake the family.  I was already organised having packed my bag the day before, so I spent a good half an hour drinking tea and clock watching, until it was time to leave.

The gorgeous, and ever so slightly jealous, ThePRMummy gave me a lift to the station, as we had discovered just a few weeks ago that we live just a few doors away and as her little one believes that 5am is a reasonable waking hour she would be up anyway.

At the station I met a fellow Cybher goer Fleurie, who luckily recognise me straight away and off we set.  Fleurie and I had a good old natter and we soon discovered that we were both from Worthing (small world) and then discussed what sessions we were most looking forward to.  It turns out Fleurie works for a PR firm and had to go to the erotic blogging session, as they are launching a new product soon……..but I will let her tell you more.

We were supposed to meet Sarah from RightBag on the train, however it turns out that it wasn’t the same one even though they got in at exactly the same time, so we met her at Waterloo instead.  Super easy to spot thanks to her lovely bag!!

The Venue

Once inside we got queueing to register and were given our badge and the most amazing leather satchel, filled with a notebook, a tin of almonds and a sharpie pen.  I walked out of the room and straight into this lovely lady:

The beautiful TheMummyBlogger

Luckily we had time for a coffee and a quick nose at all the sponsors areas before heading off for the conference.  We spied a table and were greeted by the very lovely InnocentCharmsChats, ThisMummyLoves and KneesUpMotherBrown who were even lovelier in the flesh (if that is at all possible).

After numerous hugs and introductions we sat down and the day officially began…………..

My namesake and I!
