I have recently been sent some gorgeous products from First Aid Beauty for my teenage daughter to try.
First Aid Beauty (FAB) is a solution driven skincare brand developed in consultation with dermatological and beauty industry experts. The line offers both daily skincare basics and emergency care for common skin problems and beauty challenges. You can find out more here.
Like many teenagers Abbey is prone to spots and pimples and she also suffers with combination skin. She had quite a bad flare up across her forehead about 3 weeks ago.
The first product that Abbey was sent to try was the face cleanser. FAB Face Cleanser gently cleanses the skin, removes surface oils, make up, dirt and grime. Its whipped texture transforms into a rich cream when blended with water. It is infused with a powerful botanical antioxidant blend that works hard to scavenger free radicals.
Abbey says “The face cleanser is fantastic. A little goes a long way and it lathers really well. It doesn’t sting my eyes and it removed all traces of makeup. It made my skin feel soft and refreshed, not greasy like some cleansers”
The next product she was sent to try was the Daily Face Cream. FAB Daily Face Cream is a non-comedogenic, light-weight moisturiser. It is infused with a powerful botanical antioxidant blend that works hard to scavenger free radicals. It is ideal for combination, oily, sensitive and acne prone skin, or as a gently alternative for healthy skin. It hydrates, nourishes and improves the skin’s natural barrier function.
Abbey says “I love this!! I put the moisturiser on after using the face wash and before make up. It absorbs well and doesn’t make my skin feel greasy. My make up even stays on longer when using this and I also like that you can lock the lid to stop it spilling in my make up bag!”
I wish I had taken a before picture but Abbey wasn’t comfortable with me putting such a picture on the Internet, but please take my word for it that her skin was bad, especially her forehead.
Here she is now – three weeks into using this product:
First Aid Beauty Products are available at selected Boots stores, Boots.com, www.feelunique.com, www.beautybay.com and www.bathandunwind.com.
If I am honest the products are quite pricey for a teenager (£13 for the cleanser and £15 for the moisturiser), but in my opinion, they are well worth the investment – after all, having a happy, confident teenager in the house can’t be bad.
You can also follow them on twitter @FABeautyUK and like them on Facebook for news, reviews and offers.
I like all of your product. But I love the face cleanser because it is fantastic. I use it for last one year and I get that it works really well. It doesn’t sting my eyes. It made my skin feel soft and refreshed, some cleansers are greasy but it not make the fell .Thangs a lot for your product.
