Save Time – Do it Online!

My husband is always moaning at me for the amount of time I spend online, but alot of things I do actually save me time and/or money in the real world.

These are my top 5 apps and why:

Samsung Remote:

I have a Samsung TV, but I believe Sony and LG have similar apps.  Basically you enter you TV model into the app and voila – you can operate your TV with your phone!

I know, I know……..how does this help you save time?

If you are a parent, you can guarantee that the TV remote gets lost on regular occasions, therefore by having this you don’t have to turn the house upside down to switch off CBeebies!

Britsh Gas:

I signed up to this a few months ago and I love it!!

Not only do I enter my meter reading every month (it even operates my torch on my phone), I earn nectar points for doing so, I only pay for what I am actually using and I can see my usage.  No annoying meter reading people turn up on my doorstep either!

EBay Mobile:

If you have ever listed anything on eBay, then you know how time consuming it is.  Taking photo’s, uploading to your computer and then listing it all.

With eBay mobile, you can list straight from your phone including pictures!!  You can even save templates to make it even quicker – no more faffing about on the computer!
Oh and you can bid too!
Mobile Banking:

It used to annoy me that my bank didn’t have an app, but finally they have done one so I can bank on the go.  Pay bills, transfer money or just check my balance – a great time saver.
Vouchercloud / My Voucher Codes:

I love a discount, but how frustrating it is trawling the internet and various sites to find the one you are looking for.
Now you can do it from your phone, whilst you are out and can get codes to save you money in shops / restaurants and events.  Save time and money……… can’t be bad!!
So those are my top five and I am sure that I could add another 5 quite easily.  I nearly put twitter up there, but I don’t think that actually saves me time, I just use the time I have saved to enjoy the delights it brings!!
