The Fearsome Beastie was sent to us to review and I was impressed with the quality of the book. The pages are nice and thick and the illustrations are stunning.
If you have children of a nervous disposition then I would not recommend this book. In fact I was a little worried about reading it to Isaac as he has been suffering from night terrors recently. However, he loves it!
The story tells of The Fearsome Beastie who is searching for something to eat and children are at the top of his menu. Will they be fooled by his clever tricks or will Pete’s Gran save the day?

The story is filled with rhymes and the opportunity to add your own voices to the characters, which we had a lot of fun doing. The story is very fairytale like, with good triumphing over evil. We had lots of fun roaring like monsters!
