Wondercube Giveaway

One of my very first blog posts was about a toy both my younger kids are really enjoying growing up with called Wondercube.

I was first introduced to the toy back when Isaac was a baby, and I saw Helen and her idea on ITV’s This Morning – this is what she has to say about it:

One day my baby daughter Sasha was, as usual, enthusiastically tearing wet wipes out of their packet when it gave me an idea.
My Wondercube is a cube packed with textile squares that children can pull out one by one – like wet wipes, or like a magician pulling scarves out of a hat.
The pieces can easily be pulled apart, stuck back together and rearranged in any order. And with a choice of innovative fillings, the cube can be adapted to meet your child’s growing needs.
It can help children develop fine motor skills, count and do sums, learn letters and make words, understand sequencing, play pass the parcel and much more.
This fun, interactive and educational toy comes as a tactile touchy feely cube or a beautifully crafted sturdy wooden cube.

What’s more – it is a Slow Toy Award Winner for 2012, which you can read more about here.

We started off with the Little Wonder Jersey which is made from organic cotton jersey, which is exceptionally soft and tactile.  It is machine washable and comes with a five piece filling set of “Wonder” characters.  Each touchy feely square makes a sound – bell, squeaker, rattle or crinkly paper.  To make this an extra special toy, I chose to have Isaac’s name added to it and have gradually added more squares over the years which include, the alphabet, shapes, numbers, dinosaurs and even a story!

I love the Wondercube so much that I now have a wooden one too, which I like to use with my mindees as it is slightly bigger and more robust than it’s little sister.

And now for the exciting bit.  To celebrate their Slow Toy Award for 2012. My Wonder are giving my readers the chance to win their very own Little Wonder Jersey Cube, personalised with alphabet squares spelling your child’s name!!
