Winifred is the hardest working member of our family.
She often toils several times a day, rescuing our clothes from incidents such as……
Jumping in Muddy Puddles
Dinner
Saturday Morning Football Training
Playing at the beach
Baking
Or just the mounds of washing these youngsters produce.
Abbey may have left home, but that doesn’t stop her washing coming creeping back home to mum, especially if she doesn’t understand the labels!
Have you guessed that Winifred is our Washing Machine?
I have been very lucky with Winifred, she never complains and just gets on with it. Sometimes she gets overloaded, and has a little grumble as she can’t spin but that is easy to fix. The only real problem we came across is when one of the kids left a big chunk of play-doh in their pocket, which blocked the outlet pipe. I won’t tell you how we unblocked it as trust me it wasn’t pleasant!
The only thing she demands is a wipe clean every so often, and a check of her filter. This has kept her going for the last 5 years without complaint. So thank you Winifred, we’d be lost without you!!
