I have fond memories of visiting Butlins as a youngster and then again when my children arrived.
We lived just half an hours drive from their Bognor site and would spend hot summers days splashing around in the outdoor pool, or make the most of the indoor facilities and entertainment when visiting in the winter.
We have not been to Butlins since the younger children arrived, but that is all going to change next month as I am planning on meeting up with the lovely Laura from TiredMummyofTwo for a day visit.
I am looking forward to seeing how much Butlins has changed since my last visit, and to have a look at the new Wave Hotel which opened its doors in 2012 – the perfect venue for a family weekend break.
What I love about Butlins the most, is that the majority of activities are included in the price – from the Splash Waterworld to the Traditional Fairground, to the Live Shows and Family Activities. There is always something to entertain you, no matter what your age!
Bognor Regis, West Sussex isn’t the only Butlins venue, you can also visit Minehead, Somerset and Skegness, Lincolnshire too, which all boast similar wonderful activities.
