I love shopping online!


Why?

With children it is quite simply much easier and I can often find a bargain.  I do love to shop on the high street if I am child free, but that doesn’t happen ever very often.

I was introduced to Zalando, a young, new fashion boutique when I was asked to do a review the site.

What I found was a great range of fashion, home and children’s brands in their online shop which was simple and easy to navigate.  You can even earn Nectar points on all your purchases with them, which is a real bonus for me as I save all mine to help pay for Christmas.

The issue I had was finding what to buy as there is so much to choose from.  The first thing I picked was a maternity cardigan from JoJo Maman Bebe, which was sadly out of stock so as Hubby is always moaning that he never gets anything to review, and after looking at his Timberland boots and seeing them ready for the bin, I decided to replace them instead.

Although they don’t stock Timberland themselves, they did have a huge range of men’s boots to choose from and I opted to get him some Birkenstock ones that were in the sale, reduced from £135 to £95.

If you register for the Zalando newsletter you get an extra £5 off too, so that was really worth doing for a little extra discount.  Checking out was simple and you could pay by debit / credit card and PayPal too and with free shipping you no there will be no extra cost.

My only worry was that they use Yodel, and having had a couple of bad experiences in the past it did put me off slightly.

Shipping wasn’t the fastest I have found and it took 5 days for the boots to arrive.  I was, however, emailed to say my order was on the way and they arrived the very next day after that email was received with no issues.

Hubby is very please with his new boots, although someone else took a shine to them…….

I will be using Zalando again, although it is still worth shopping around as I did find the cardigan I had hoped to buy in stock and cheaper elsewhere, but with free shipping and free returns it does even out the cost!
