Disneyland Paris – Day 4

Today was the first day we got into the park at their opening time of 8am (for hotel guests only) and just look how quiet it is…..

The benefit of getting in so early is there are no queues so the little ones got to explore the Disney Castle, go on the carousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Buzz Lightyear almost straight away.

The castle really is worth exploring as the attention to detail is fantastic, although Eliza did want to move in!

I rode the Carousel in the carriage but the big boys got to pretend to be Knight’s of the castle and ride their noble steeds!

We stayed in the main park until It’s a Small World opened (yes I know – again), and then headed back next door as Isaac wanted to meet Buzz Lightyear whom only appeared in the mornings!

Kian was also desperate to ride Crush’s Coaster and the queues had been extremely long each time we tried so now was our chance to get on it early – apparently it was well worth the wait, although why they do not offer a fast track pass on it I don’t know.

Daddy still didn’t manage to persuade him to ride the Tower of Terror though, so we headed back to Disneyland around mid-afternoon to do Thunder Mountain, Indiana Jones and Star Wars before settling down to watch the main parade and Disney Dreams.

The main Disney Magic on Parade was fabulous and I wish we had stayed in the park on previous nights to see it as the kids were transfixed from beginning to end!

The only thing that let the evening down was not being able to find anywhere to eat.  Most of the restaurants were closed after the parade and it was manically busy, but we stayed in the park until the end and watched the Disney Dreams Show again, as this would be our last chance as going home tomorrow!

  1. Your photos are great! I love the ones of inside the castle.

How annoying that the restaurants were closed, I hope it didn’t spoil the day for you.

I always ride the carousel in a carriage, as it’s a great way to rest the legs (and sometimes the eyes too lol).

Thanks for linking up with #100DaysOfDisney xx

  2. What a great final day! Disney really do know how to do a parade, and I could happily watch the same parade over and over!

That’s annoying about the restaurants though, I wonder why they do that at DLP?

It’s be fab to read your trip report to Disneyland Paris and it’s had lots of tips to help others.

Thank you for sharing this at the #100DaysOfDisney link party, you’re welcome to add more posts to it when you have them! xx
