Struggling to get your children to eat their 5-a-day?
Scooby Doo, Spongebob Squarepants, Tinkerbell, Cars, the Disney Princesses and more could be the answer to your problem.
The kids’ favourites can now be found on supermarket shelves as the stars of the new Crosse & Blackwell range of Pasta meals and meatballs, with all the pasta counting towards a child’s 5-a-day.
We were sent some tins to review (although we actually have been buying them anyway) and I can safely say they are a hit.
I love the fact the tins are small so there is no wastage and both Isaac and Eliza will sit at the table and try to identify the shapes before eating them. Isaac is my super fussy eater and won’t touch Baked Beans or tinned Spaghetti, so to see them eating these is fabulous.
Eliza’s favourite shapes are the “Tinkel Bell” ones, whereas Isaac likes the Disney Cars the best.
I have to admit the meatballs aren’t a hit though and both refused to eat them – but if I make Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs they won’t touch that either so it may be a texture rather than taste issue.
