I am so excited, we are finally going to……..

All the back in 2009 we went to Lulworth Castle for the Pirate Festival, where we explored the grounds, watched war re-inactments and joined in with various pirate activities.  We had a fabulous time and it was here we first heard about Camp Bestival.

Camp Bestival is a true family festival, filled with music, arts, shows, food, activities, camping and more.  For the last 5 years we have been desperate to join in with the fun, but various things have prevented us from going……..until now!

WE ARE GOING TO CAMP BESTIVAL!!!!!!

I am so excited and the line up is amazing and I have to say a huge thank you to Emma from The Mini Mes And Me for making it happen.

The line up looks amazing too – the older kids are looking forward to seeing Dick & Dom and the younger ones (and I) can’t wait to see Mr Tumble.  There is also a soft play area, Horrible Histories, Art Town and various other activities for them to get stuck into.

For us adults, the likes of Mark Owen (Take That), The Levellers, Heaven 17, Labrinth etc are there for music, the teens will probably prefer the DJ sets and for comedy I cannot wait to see Alan Davies amongst others.  Apparently the firework displays are out of this world too.

There is just too much going on for me to list and I have to admit some of the things I want to see clash….. how do you make these decisions?

I then have the worry of what to wear, what to take with us……..I have never been to a festival before.  I guess I need to be prepared for all eventualities without taking everything but the kitchen sink with us.

Whatever happens I am sure we will have great fun – we can’t wait!
