I am still trying to re-jig our sleeping arrangements in the house and it has become clear that something had to give.
Eliza has a small double bedroom and will be sharing a room with Sebastian soon. Until last week she was in the cotbed and a 3ft divan bed was the other side of the room for when Callan is with us. Up until now the arrangement worked but Sebastian is growing fast and it won’t be long until he needs the cot.
I have been looking a childrens’ beds online and fell in love with a Princess bed, but managed to find a second hand one locally, the same size as a cot bed so we actually have a bit more room.
My next problem is where does Callan sleep when he visits. The boys share a fairly large double bedroom, but with two 3ft divans in there, the floorspace is minimal and certainly hasn’t got room for another bed or even a futon.
I have been looking into various options including the children’s beds from Steens High Sleeper and triple sleeper bunk beds. I love the idea of proper steps to one side other than a ladder but what I really wanted was an “L” shaped sleeper with a double underneath and a single up top, but having seen one in the Vertbaudet catalogue (sadly not to buy), I have been unable to find one anywhere.
I have been busy posting pictures of my favourites to my Pinterest board and think I have decided which one I am saving up for – the Maple Triple Sleeper as it has a 4ft 6″ double bed and two storage drawers – perfect for a growing teenage boy!

That looks really lovely, I loved putting A’s room together I just have to stop myself from buying too much.
My list of wants is endless – I really want to redecorate but just don’t have the time!
That looks adorable. I’m a sucker for bunting!
