If I am honest I really struggled looking after the children at the beginning of the holidays due to a combination of my recovery and lack of sleep, but I soon found my feet again and we had so many fantastic adventures that I am actually sad to see them go back to school.
This week see’s Isaac go into Year 1, Kian into Year 9, Callan into Year 12 and Eliza start Playschool. I wasn’t worried about the boys as they all enjoy school, but it was Eliza’s very first time of being away from me with virtual strangers. I needn’t have worried though, as apparently it was like she had always been there and made friends straight away. Apparently she is also a little bossy boots – I have no idea where she gets that from!!
We did have one last adventure to Thomasland, which we all thoroughly enjoyed and saw me try my first rollercoaster ride in over a year. Let’s just say ouch!

i can imagine that Eliza was a little bossy but made friends – she is quite upfront and friendly but that is good that she has that confidence. lovely photo of daddy his little baby boy!! be nice for you to have a few quieter weeks now though??? x
