Time is flying by so fast and I cannot believe how big Sebastian is getting. He has now jumped from the 9th centile to just over the 50th and weighs in at an impressive 15lb 10oz!
He adores being talked to and has me in stitches with the noises he makes when talking back. Today in the hairdresser he actually sounded like he was blowing kisses.
His umbilical hernia is starting to disappear and finally seems to be well again after his nasty cold and a week on antibiotics. His immunisations haven’t helped his recovery though.
He is starting to get frustrated about not being able to roll over and the last couple of days I have noticed him trying to pull his head and neck up as if trying to sit. I am toying with the idea of buying a Bumbo, but not sure if it’s a waste of money?
We have started swimming lessons with Turtle Tots and he loves it. He is the only boy in a class of girls and just spends his time grinning at everyone. It does help that the water in the pool is like a bath!
I still have not fully recovered from my c-section either. I have been using bio-oil on the scar and have noticed a huge improvement in the colour and texture, but inwardly I still feel sore, and occasionally it still stings – especially if I do too much. It is frustrating that I still haven’t got my strength back, but I am getting there.
I am desperate to do some form of exercise but there just are not enough hours in the day and I am struggling to find out what I can and can’t do. I would like to swim, but swimming with small people in tow is impossible!
If you have any exercise tips or ideas for me please let me know. I’d appreciate any advice you can offer!!
