I love my old Snoozeshade original – it has got us through many a day out with Isaac and Eliza and I found it a godsend with Sebastian over the hot summer.

I follow Snoozeshade on twitter and when I heard they were coming to Bournemouth for a photoshoot for their new range I tweeted back and met Cara and the models on the beach.













I was immediately impressed by the new Snoozeshade Plus Deluxe and thought how good it would look on my pram…..I just had to have one.  I must also apologise for Isaac and Eliza gatecrashing a couple of photos too.

The Snoozeshade Plus Delux Edition, like the Snoozeshade Original is a sun and sleep shade designed for use with babies and toddlers that fits all single prams, pushchairs, travel systems and buggies.  You can also buy a double, carseat and even travel cot version too.

The Snoozeshade Delux differs from the original in many ways,  Firstly, it is this lovely grey colour in snooze mood and the double layer of fabric removes both distractions and blocks 97.5% of the suns UV rays (UPF40+).  I like the grey as it co-ordinates with my Britax Affinity.

In Lookout mode there is a black mesh viewing window which filters 80% of UV and reduces glare.

The top zip above the lookout panel is the “sneak a peek” zip which lets you check on your child without disturbing them.

The Front panel opens fully to allow easy access to your baby / child.

The Snoozeshade can be used any time of the day or night, on holiday, in restaurants and when travelling so your little one can enjoy the sights or take a nap whilst protected from the elements.  It is so versatile it can be used anytime of the year and not only protects your child from the sun, but also insects, chill and light rain.

The Snoozeshade Delux edition is made from 100% breathable, soft and stretchy premium fabric and is tested to all relevant safety standards.  It comes with a storage bag and folds up so small that it can be tucked inside the changing bag or handbag without taking up too much room.


My friend Jeni didn’t believe that it would fit on her pram – a Babies R Us Jig, but it fit perfectly.  I have also tried it on my Britax B-Agile and my Britax B-Dual with no problems.

My Snoozeshade original attaches to the pram with velcro tabs, but this has little poppers which I find are more secure.  The panels simply roll down and fasten at the bottom of the snooze shade when they are not in use.

I prefer the Plus for all its features, but both are equally useful and would make the perfect addition to your baby’s must have list!!
