Cosyplay Play and Change Mat Review and Competition

I first heard about the Cosyplay mat earlier this year.  It is a unique baby play mat, which uses memory foam in its patented four-layer system, making it ideal on hard floors and outdoors – even on wet grass.

What makes it different is that the cosyplay mat contains a one-inch thick layer of memory foam. This generates superior comfort, impact protection and fantastic insulation – especially useful on tiles and hardwood flooring.
Cosyplay have just introduced the new Play and Change Mat and I was sent one to review.
Like the larger play mat this also has the one-inch thick layer of memory foam but it is smaller in size measuring 75 x 50 x 4cm.  This makes it slightly larger than average changing mats and it is covered with a supersoft cuddle fabric that makes it perfect for tummy time for babies.
Cosyplay have used high tech PU laminated fabrics to provide waterproof layers to cover the memory foam which are machine washable and can be tumble dried too……essential with a baby.  You can even buy spare covers so you are not rushing around trying to get them washed and dried quickly.

What I love about the mat is the soft fabric cover.  It is warm and comfortable unlike the cold PVC of a regular changing mat which means I don’t have to lay Sebastian on a muslin or towel when I change or bath him.  We also took the mat on holiday to our caravan as his playmat as couldn’t fit his bulky play arch in the car, and I was happy he was warm and comfortable and he was happy he could chill out and stretch his legs.

I really wish I had this play and change mat from birth as it is so versatile.
You can tell by his face he is warm and comfortable, even in a chilly caravan.

 

It’s even big enough for almost 3 year old Eliza to use after her bath and it stops my duvet getting damp whilst I dry her off!

    I hate putting my baby girl on a freezing cold uncomfortable changing mat. Especially with the winter months coming up. At the moment I use a towel over mine to make warmer. Warmth is great! 😀
