Win £100 B&Q Vouchers with Streetclub

We have lived in our house for 8 years now, and apart from our direct neighbours, shockingly were only really introduced to our close neighbours earlier this year when the council decided they wanted to build 6 new houses on the green space where our children play.

We are appealing the decision and now all say “Hello” in the street and meet up once a month for progress reports and have even started helping each other out with bits and bobs from borrowing equipment to childcare.

Last week I was introduced to StreetClub by B&Q and I think it is a really fabulous idea.

”Ever thought how much more socialhelpful and rewarding it would be if you could easily talk, share and plan with your street?
We did too – so we created Streetclub to connect you & your neighbours with a private ’on-line community noticeboard’ that’s easy and safe to use.
Why not start a club, talk, share and plan with those around you, and bring back a sense of community today”

B&Q Streetclub could work on any size street, in any size town and by getting people talking, sharing, helping and taking ownership of the area they live.  I am sure it can really help to improve the way we live together as communities.
To celebrate this great scheme, B&Q StreetClub are giving one lucky reader of my blog a chance to Win £100 B&Q Vouchers.

    16. I’ve got 2 bedrooms to decorate during the Xmas break, so plenty of paint and some nice curtains to match and if it’s not too late then perhaps a few Xmas lights to brighten up the place!

    17. I would give the voucher to my Mum to spend on redoing her bedroom. She has decorated mine and my sisters room perfectly but never does her own, always putting us first. This year was the first year she got a radiator in her room! I think she deserves some luxury that we aren’t able to afford, otherwise she just wouldn’t treat herself.
