Sunday 15th December 2013 was Sebastian’s Christening Day.
Family and friends joined us at St Marks Church where we were married and sadly my idea of lots of outside photos was thwarted by torrential rain, however inside the church was warm, toasty and sparkly thanks to the Christmas decorations.
The Christening itself took just half an hour an hour and Sebastian was brilliantly behaved throughout. Β I did think he was expecting to go for a swim at one point as his legs were kicking furiously!
Doesn’t Sebastian look like his Dad! |
I did try and get a photo of the kids together but it really wasn’t happening as Isaac was too intent on messing about!
My Brood |
Once we had finished taking photo’s we headed off for Merley House for the Cream Tea reception. Β Again all my plans of taking photo’s just didn’t happen as I was too busy mingling, but the food was gorgeous and Sebastian was very well behaved – well he was getting all the cuddles!
Sebastian has been on lots of seaside adventures with us since he arrived in June, so a sea themed cake seemed most appropriate.
I think everyone had fun!
They were certainly full of sugar, after all these delicious treats!
My two eldest seem to tower over me now!
And a very rare photograph of hubby and I together!
What an amazing day you made it. I love all the photos of little Sebastian and love the one of you had hubby together.
A real magic moment! A lovely way to formally welcome Sebastian to the family. Loving the cakes too.
