CRAFTING PROJECTS FOR KIDS

Keeping the kids entertained is a difficult task at the best of times – during the school holidays, multiply that considerably. It can be a nightmare, especially if you have nothing planned, the weather is awful, and the kids are climbing the walls with boredom.

The solution to this unwanted scenario can be crafting – the perfect activity to enjoy indoors, entertaining, creative and productive, and relatively cheap to do, too. Children are always better off when their little brains are engaged in something that can absorb their energy and inspire their imagination, and Easter is the ideal time to get crafting.

Homecrafts.co.uk have some superb ideas, a selection of which are included on this Easter Holidays Boredom Conqueror infographic they have produced. From creating an Easter chick, to decorating an Easter bonnet and making egg hunt bags, there are all sorts of fun projects. For older children, quilling eggs and making Batik eggs may appeal – these are both more challenging but the end results can be spectacular!

All these craft projects are easy and straightforward to do, fun for all ages, and when they are successfully completed you’ll either have lovely little keepsakes or unique gifts to give to friends and family.
