Sebastian is a dribble monster at the moment thanks to the dreaded teething stage. It is almost as though someone has turned a tap on in his mouth he gets so wet!
We have been using dribble bibs with him, but he hates things being tight around his neck so he moans and tugs at them constantly so when I was offered the Dribble Stop Top to review I was keen to try it straight away.
You simply replace baby’s regular top or vest with the dribble stop top. It is vest which has a pocket of specialised waterproof material with skin-like breathability hidden inside the top that covers the Dribble Zone (chest area), which acts as a barrier to stop dribble soaking through to baby’s delicate skin.
I like the fact it has an extra high neckline to ensure maximum coverage and that it looks just like a normal t-shirt, with poppers either side of the neck for easy changing.
The vest itself is made with soft cotton jersey to ensure baby remains comfortable as well as safe and dry plus it is machine washable and tumble dryable too – a must with babies!
Sebastian was starting to get dry skin in the dribble zone, but thanks to this Dribble Stop Top this has now gone. We are that impressed with it that I have already ordered some more!
Dribble Stop Tops are available in packs of two and in 3 colour ways in store at Kiddicare and online at Little Casa.
I have been reliably informed that Dribble Stop Top will soon be launching a range of t-shirts too. Simply like them on Facebook or follow them on twitter at @dribblestoptop to find out about the launch first.
What a great idea. I used to put little scarfs on my boys to catch their dribbles! They always looked like little coybows
Sounds great. Amazing what new things they come up with these days (oh boy I sound like my mum!) x
Great idea, would be good if they had patterned ones x
Oh my that is genius! GG used to go to nursery wearing 3 bibs as she got such bad eczema from all her dribbling. How I wish we’d had this!
what a great idea, so practical x
great idea although it was the sicky that bothered me most x
Oh I so needed these when my two gushers were in full dribble, Dribble Stop will go far!!
What a clever idea. Mine were all very dribbly and a top like this would’ve been a blessing.
What a great idea! My daughter is a dribbler but doesn’t really like the dribble bibs either – will have to have a look into these.
These sound great! My youngest had a huge oral motor skill delay and couldn’t shut his mouth properly for the first two years of his life. He dribbled enormously. These would have been such a help!
Oh wow this sounds brilliant! POD wasn’t a dribbler but she did spill up all the time, like every half hour (she was a snacker!). Great idea 🙂
Brilliant idea. We used to have to send Harry to nursery/childminder with 2 or 3 extra tops and vests because he soaked himself so much and hated having dribble bibs on.
What a great idea! The amount of times I had to stop the twins pulling each others dribble bibs! These would have been fab! x
That sounds like a great idea! My daughter is teething at the moment and we are getting through lots of dribble bibs…
That’s such a cute idea, you’d never know!
My two used to struggle with this. They would get so sore around their neck. This sounds like a great idea to stop it from happening.
These look great, little ones are so dribbley aren’t they! x
