We were lucky enough to be sent three new Skylanders to review over the Easter.
In the skylanders swap force 3 pack we were sent Scorp, Dual Blade Chop-Chop and Heavy-Duty Sprocket.
Scorp is a Scorpion who creates rocks from his hands and throws them, he also has a poisonous stinger which inflicts damage over a period of time. And when you upgrade him to use is special move (Y on the xbox, Triangle on the Playstation and Z on the Wii) He rolls into a ball and damaging an enemy in his way.
Scorp was raised in the Salt Flat Islands, an endless flat plain of rock where every day is very hot. To keep themselves entertained, the residents live for the sport of Sting Ball, an extreme game that only the strongest play to become King of Sting — a title Scorp had won numerous times. During his last championship game, the opposing team cheated by using an enchanted water gem to make it rain. But the spell got out of control and soon a raging thunderstorm flooded the land. Using his powerful claws and incredible agility, Scorp bravely battled the rising waters to retrieve the gem and hurl it far into the clouds, breaking the spell and saving everyone. Seeing how his abilities could be used for more than sport, Scorp soon sought out and joined the Skylanders.
Dual Blade Chop-Chop is like the normal Chop-Chop until you upgrade him to wield 2 blades and reek havoc onto Kaos’ Forces.
Chop-Chop was once an elite warrior belonging to the ancient race of Arkeyan beings. Like many of the Arkeyans, he was created from a hybrid of elements – in his case, undead magic and technology. Chop Chop is a relentless, highly-skilled solider who wields a sword and shield made of an indestructible metal. With the Arkeyans having vanished long ago, Chop Chop wandered Skylands for centuries looking for his creators. Eventually, he was found by Eon and recruited as a Skylander.
Wow – how many Skylanders! My 7yo has this game but doesn’t play it very much as he says he doesn’t have enough characters even though it seems to me he has a huge box full! I think he better get saving his pocket money 🙂 xx
This is awesome! There’s so may of them, I bet when Hayden is older he will be just the same.
Thanks for sharing hun

These sound great! My son is a big Skylanders fan!
Wow, that is some collection you’ve got!! This is exactly the kind of thing my 8 year old would love – anything with characters he can collect. Hmm, now should I share it with him?! I might have to think about some for his birthday!
Wow what detailed descriptions of them all!! I can’t believe how many there are… My twins aren’t into gaming just yet but Teen had some of these a few years back which they play with as normal toys lol x
My 9y/o used to love his Skylanders but I got sick of seeing them out so I put them all in a cupboard and I think he’s forgotten about them. I’m going to dig them out now x x
