Celebrating the 25th Birthday of the Vileda SuperMocio mop

To celebrate Day 11 of my #CMBigBirthdayBonanza and the 25th birthday of the Vileda SuperMocio mop, I’ve teamed up with Vileda, the UK’s leading household cleaning brand.

SuperMocio fans are in for a treat as Vileda’s hero product has taken another revolutionary step forward with the SuperMocio 3Action Compact mop – all the latest Vileda technology but designed in a three piece handle making it ideal for storing in small spaces.

The SuperMocio 3Action Compact mop includes the same technology as the SuperMocio 3Action mop yet it can be stored in small cupboards and tight spaces with the three piece handle – ideal for flats and those with less space.

The SuperMocio 3Action allows for even better dirt and particle pick up thanks to the 3D velour spots which are made up of millions of small fibres. These fibres offer great dirt pick-up and dirt release into the bucket.

The mop boasts a non-scratch power spot eraser and microfibre zone, making it a perfect solution for getting rid of stubborn and greasy marks on tiled and vinyl flooring.

Durable and long lasting, the mop head can be washed in the washing machine and used time and time again.

In 2014, the SuperMocio mop celebrates its 25th birthday, that’s 25 years long service in the home and 25 years of innovation and evolving design.

At the forefront of household product revolution, Vileda is proud to be the market leader in mopping. Vileda continually works to reinvent its products to the highest standard to make household chores more effective and more time efficient than its competitors.

Tough marks still have no chance as the scourer tackles stubborn marks without additional elbow grease and without scratching the floor. MICROFIBRE ZONE.  Other hard to remove marks face the microfibre material, which is great for removing greasy residue.

The 3D velour is where Vileda experts have been extra busy. The velour is a 3D particle collecting layer, made up of millions of small fibres. Compared to the Collectex of old, it picks up more particles and hair than ever before. These velour pads increase power and improve dirt pick up so your floors are clean in no time!

Vileda is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a SuperMocio mop to help them get their home ship shape this summer. Perfect for busy homes, Vileda products are designed to last miles longer and make your cleaning miles easier!

  1. To freshen up carpets sprinkle with baking soda and/or talcum powder before vacuuming – gets rid of nasty smells.

  2. Run your shower very hot with the window and door shut and fan off for a couple of minutes before giving the bathroom a deep clean – the steam lifts any dirt and makes it far easier to wipe over.

  3. Maybe not the best tip in the circumstances but get a steam cleaner. They are brilliant and save you a fortune as you don’t need anything but water.

  5. I have one of those fancy pants H20 X5 steam mops and it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought for my home! It gets rid of stains and marks in carpet, sanitises and cleans limescale and dirt from taps and plug holes.

  6. Don’t throw left over cola away.

Just soak over night and wipe clean.

  10. I have my own way – 1 room a day – taking hall/stairs/landing as a room, that means I have 7 in total. Each day is then about 30-60 mins to do. Unfortunately, even though daily cleans, it is necessary to have a big clean every now and again.

  12. Baby wipes with a squirt of antibacterial spray. so much cheaper than the packet antibacterial wipes. I’m a bit OC unfortunately. so go through a lot.

  13. Add a few drops of fabric conditioner to water and use it to dampen a cloth and clean your tv screen. It is anti static so stops the screen attracting dust.

  19. Use your washing powder as a general cleaner…it really cuts through dirt, grime and grease…very good on shower trays, baths and sinks… put some down the loo and watch the stains disappear…no need for other high priced cleaners.

  21. Always start with the things you find the hardest or hate doing the most and get them out of the way first – from then on it only gets easier.

  35. I like making it fun, I stick on my music at top notch and get the kids to help me, we have a good ol’ giggle while we clean, in fact the kids ask if we can do it more often! However don’t forget, nothing has to be perfect, if you take cleaning to the extremes, especially if you have kids, you’re not letting them expose themselves to enough germs, which means they will fall more ill later on in life!! A bit o dirt never hurt no-one! 🙂
