Pumpaloons Review and Giveaway

We love Drumond Park for their imaginative and inventive games and now the holidays are almost upon us, with children unleashed from school and plenty of shouts of “I’m boooored!” coming up it is time to think ahead and arrange some activities.

Parents of tots aged four and up needn’t worry about endless weeks of staggering about being entertainment managers though, thanks to two clever games from Drumond Park. We reviewed Bubble Buster Kazoo Game (rrp £9.99) last year and it is still as popular now as it was then!

We have been sent Pumpaloons (rrp £19.99) to review which is aimed at children age 4+

Pumpaloons is definitely one of the most original and entertaining games to come out for a long, long time. The goal is to pump up your one of two lovable, colourful wobblies – Stripeyloon and Spottyloon – before anyone else.

The kit takes a few seconds to unpack and you simply plug in the pumps and watch as children use every part of their bodies to get that pump moving and air flowing… so that their Pumpaloon is plumped up first.  The initial pump is quite tough, especially for little ones as the loons have been packed tightly so I recommend an adult gives them a start.

Then let the kids loose!

Jump on it, push it, sit on it and bounce up and down – anything goes when you’re racing to make your Pumpaloon grow. This game is ideal for parties, rainy days, family affairs and holidays as it will bash the boredom away and get everyone involved.

Warning: Stripeyloon (named Molly bu Eliza)) and Spottyloon (named Ed by Isaac) are more than just three-foot high wobblies from the game. Once blown up, these cuddly characters are also be found secreted away around the house and have become my children’s best friends – they even went to bed with them. Don’t be surprised when you find them in the strangest of places…

It is a great game that can be played inside and out.  It helps get the kids (and parents) exercising and using their gross motor skills to get the pump working before roll playing with their new friends.

The lovely team at Drumond Park have given me a Pumpaloons game to giveaway to one of my readers for Day 25 of my #CMBigBirthdayBonanza
