Let the battle between good vs evil, light vs dark commence with Lite Brix LITE WARS!
The Black Guard, an evil army of darkens have discovered the origins of the Blazer’s power source Lumitron. They are threatening to destroy the existence of light and humanity. This army of terror is determined to capture the power source for their own sinister use.
The Blaze Force protectors of the light must journey to the darkest corners of the world where they will fight in epic battles to save the future of Lumitron…the future of light itself. Lumitron is the ultimate power source; it powers all things from vehicles to buildings to battle weapons. Blazer Force has harnessed the precious resource into a fuel which they protect from the evil intentions of the Black Guard.
This Slayer Jet construction set enables you to build a slayer jet with 2 cannons using Lite Brix lighted building bricks. The main difference between these and another well known brand is that they feature four colour LEDs that come to life when connected to the mini LED battery power pack, which is a pretty cool gimmick that impressed not only Isaac, but Kian too.
The set came nicely packaged in different sections with clear instructions. It is aimed at 6 years and over but Isaac did find it quite complicated and needed help from his big brother.
The set also features 1 light up Hell Fire mini figure and 1 Captain Bolt light up mini figure.
It requires 4 LR41 Batteries (included) and 3 AAA Batteries (not included). There is a wire that comes out of the side which I have no idea what to do with. I assume you can plug it in to make it light up too, but we don’t have anything that fits the wire, so it is a bit of an odd addition to the toy. The instructions don’t explain it either!
The jet and accessories are quite fragile when built so it is a set that is best used as a model rather than to play with, although Isaac seems quite happy flying it around the lounge and carrying out repairs if necessary.
The box includes: 1 lite brix; 87 brick blocks; 8 special shaped parts; 2 lite up figures; 1 mini LED battery power pack; 1 Decal sheet; 1 instruction manual;
Flashing bright lights?! Every kids idea of heaven surely, ha! What is it with kids being fascinated with anything that requires batteries?!
Love light bricks, the boys have some last year and loved them and even better they fit with LEGO
Thank you for providing such an indepth review. I’ve been looking at Lite Brix as a potential Christmas idea, so it’s been really helpful!
