It is fair to say that the stair gates in my house are fairly old and have taken a bit of a battering over the years, so when I was offered a Dreambaby® Chelsea Swing-Closed Security Gate to review I was excited that I would finally have one that worked as it should!

The gate is secured on the door that leads from the lounge into the kitchen as Sebastian is very keen on twiddling the knobs on my cooker and switching the washing machine on and off if he gets the chance.

This gate is pressure mounted, meaning that it is super easy to install and use, and is perfect for temporary or rental accommodation – no screws, drilling, or damage to furniture or walls required, although it does come with plastic guides which you can screw into the door frame if you choose.

You can open the gate one-handed with ease – simply push the button on the top of the gate, lift and push forward, or pull back – it swings both ways.  The gate then softly closes behind you, keeping Sebastian out of harms way.

Being so tall it stops the kids from climbing over it too.

Available in black and white, its a must have for any family with a young, inquisitive child and I have one to give away to my readers.
