Decorative Door Knobs Review

Some of our furniture has been inherited from various sides of the family, however, much as it is practical it isn’t necessarily to our taste.

I love Kirtsy Allsopps show that upcycles furniture that has seen better days although I have to admit that I am not in the slighest bit artisitic in anyway, so I was looking at a simpler way to make our furniture more “us”.

I was approached by Trinca Ferro to see if I would like to review their decorative vintage knobs for furniture and thought they would be perfect to jazz up an old pine unit in Eliza’s room.

Trinca Ferro

She chose her own designs which included a heart, butterfly, crown and the letter “O” as her best friend is called Olive!  The door knobs arrived within a week and were packaged well in oodles of bubble wrap to ensure they arrived safely.

They were super simple to attach to the unit, simply unscrew the old ones and insert these in their place and tighten up the nut.

Done!

The only thing that I have found with them is that the stalk comes out quite a long way and has snagged a couple of t-shirts, but I have just had to set the clothes slightly farther back.

All in all, a great way of updating that tired old unit to something that means something to you!
