There is always at least one day during the holidays when the weather is just too nasty to go outside and play. Today is one of those days.
When asked what they would like to do, Isaac, Eliza and their friends decided that wanted to watch the film Home, with the obligatory bowl of popcorn. Of course I was the one who had to drive to the shops to go and buy some, but it was all worth it.
We were sent the film Home to review and I think the kids have watched it 4 times already. The film is about Oh, an alien on the run from his own people who lands on Earth and makes friends with the adventurous Tip, who is on a quest of her own.
Connor and Isaac’s favourite part is when Oh made the flying car.
Ellie’s favourite part when they find out what the password it for.
Eliza’s favourite part is when they fixed all the bits up!
They all loved it when Tip finds her mum.
Home is a lovely feel good film, filled with cute and colourful animations – perfect to keep the kids quiet on a rainy afternoon!
This is on our want to watch list, will have to grab a copy next time I am at the shops
I love a home cinema day, which for me usually means a Disney afternoon laid in bed x
We love movie afternoons – snuggling under the blankets with popcorn is the best way to spend a rainy day x
We are having a film day today! It is chucking it down with rain!
I totally admit I want to see this myself some time I am such a sucker for kids films still. x
Aw I love this film, I think we are going to have a home cinema day soon too.
Home Cinema days are the best!! Especially with popcorn….
I don’t think my son has ever watched a film, I’ve tried a few with him but he always gets bored after about 10 mins! This sounds like a great film for kids though 🙂 xx
We saw a preview of Home at the cinema and the kids loved it. They are wanting the DVD as well!
We have finally got round to watching it and the kids loved it :O)
I’m pretty sure my eldest would find this scary (anything with the mildest suspense is too much for her at the moment) but sounds like one to remember for the future.
My boys loved this film. In fact so did their mates too. I had 5 boys from 11 to 3 all watching it
We haven’t seen this film yet but we had a movie day yesterday – I love days like these. There’s no-one I’d rather hang out with than my hubby and two kids watching a film with a big bowl of popcorn! We watched Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day – it was a funny film!
Oh we like a feel good film but not seen Home yet. Mich x
We love a good home cinema day and ‘Home’ is one go the films my girls have been asking about and I hadn’t heard of.
