This week is the first week that Eliza has been at school full time and boy, Sebby and I have made the most of it. Sunday though was all about me and a job I had to do – making the goody bags for Blog On Win. Four hours of breaking down boxes, packing bags, breaking down more boxes and repeat to make the 160 goody bags for all the attendees of the conference. Let’s just say my back hurt afterwards!
Monday was a quiet day of recovery for me as Sebby had pre-school in the morning. Tuesday we headed off to Farmer Palmers, a local attraction we know and love, I renewed our season pass and we went on a very bumpy tractor ride as well as stroking some animals and feeding the goats.
On Wednesday I had another “me” day and headed to Blog Camp River Cottage which was all kinds of amazing and Thursday saw me taking Sebby to Poole park where we took a miniature train around the park and the driver made his day by letting him sit in the engine itself.
Friday was a proud day as I saw Isaac become a Lodge Leader at Beavers. He is small for his age and it is something I didn’t think would happen, but his Beaver Leader has seen something in him and thinks he will do a good job.
Saturday was quite frankly an epic day. We started off with a 5km run at BeGungHo, thanks to Alex Winters (CBeebies), which involved scrambling over giant inflatables, getting large balls thrown at us and sliding down the biggest inflatable slide I have ever seen and then headed 15 minutes up the road to visit Legoland…………..lets just say my feet hurt!!
Eliza and Mollie were over the moon that they got to meet the Lego Friends though.
Here is my week in pictures:
