Puddle Buster Coat from Frugi

We are huge fans of Frugi, so when we were invited to review an item from their new Autumn / Winter range the only problem we had was choosing.

At the end of the summer we had some pretty atrocious weather and it was clear that I couldn’t make Sebastian’s waterproof coat last any longer, it was after all size 9-12 months and he is 2 now.

I was therefore excited to see that Frugi now have a Puddle Buster range of jackets, made from 100% recycled polyester in three Frugi prints – my problem solved!

We decided upon the Tomato Campers design and ordered a size 2-3.

The jacket is made with a silky soft PU coated waterproof outer fabric, fully taped seams and a has a fleece lining for added warmth. Like all Frugi jackets it also reflective prints for safety, pockets at the front to store those all important cars, elasticated cuffs and zip and popper fastening.

I just adore the vibrant print and all the mum’s and dad’s on the school run have commented on how lovely his jacket is. I haven’t yet got to test out its waterproof abilities as we have had some lovely weather in the last few weeks, but I am not complaining. Sizing wise it comes up slightly on the large size, but I am sure Sebby will grow into it soon.

Also in the Puddle Buster range are co-ordinating waterproof trousers in a choice of three colours and I will be investing in a pair of these for our winter visits to the forest. The bib trousers are made from 100% recycled polyester in three colours and like the jacket are PU coated with waterproof fabric and taped seams. They have elasticated bib straps with clip fastenings, elasticated stirrups great for stretching over welly boots and reflective prints on the ankle and bib, perfect for keeping kids dry when jumping in puddles this rainy season!

I am proud to be a part of be a party of the Frugi family and am taking part in their Autumn / Winter blog hop. See what Natty at Downside Up thinks of her Isobel Cardigan.

  1. Oh I love how unique it is and how you will be able to spot S when you are out at the park or the beach. I love Frugi clothes and bought a lot when the boys were younger

  2. We love Frugi too. There were tears when H’s Frugi trousers wore out after several years of wear – they had zip off bottoms so he’d got a lot of use out of them. Love Sebby’s coat.

  3. Ah I love this coat! The whole aw range is just lovely isn’t it? We chose the pram suit from the adventure range but I think I’m going to order coats for the other two as they are just so lovely! x
