Do your bit in Christmas Knit!

I have a confession……..

I don’t like Christmas jumpers!

Last year I begrudgingly bought Christmas jumpers for Hubby and the kids as they were taking part in Christmas Jumper Day at work and school but I stubbornly refused to get one for myself, however, this year I have had a change of heart and have actually bought and worn my Christmas Jumper already and will be joining in with Christmas Jumper Day on 18th December as ITV has teamed up with Macmillan Cancer Support, Make-A-Wish UK and Save the Children to make Christmas Jumper Day even bigger this year!

The fundraising kit is bursting at the seams with top tips, fundraising advice and festive ideas to help you sweater up and share the jumper joy this December! Whether you go wacky in your woolly, or simply wear your festive jumper with friends, at work or at school on Friday 18 December, fundraise for Text Santa and help give hope this Christmas.

Christmas jumpers can be found in most high street stores now but if you are looking for a bargain head over to M and M Direct as they have some fabulous ones – I am very tempted by the penguin in the Santa hat, but I will stick with my Doctor Who inspired one.

If you are looking for something more personalised the kids will be wearing their Elfie Selfie tops with their faces on them and if you are quick you can get 20% off at the checkout using code CHELSEA20.

Will you be doing your bit in Christmas Knit this Christmas Jumper Day?

  1. We started a tradition about three years ago to inject a bit of fun into boxing day. We all wear Xmas jumpers on boxing day which means everyone gets some wear out of their jumpers the kids all think its hilarious.

  2. I actually love a christmas jumper and this year have bought the boys a couple each to take part in the christmas jumper day on the 18th for their school and nursery. This year we have also started tradition of having a family photo taken in our festive knits. It’s such good cause so I will helping out and getting involved in our nurseries festivities. Thanks for sharing.

  3. I must admit, I’m not really a fan but I do also like to get into the Christmas spirit so this leaves me a bit torn. I like the Dr Who jumper, and would definitely consider getting that for my OH. I’m sure that would help raise some money
