A Sports Bra that really works!!

I don’t really do New Years Resolutions but there are some things I have let slip and need to regain control of and one of those things is controlling my weight.

Earlier this year I was so close to my target of 10 stone that I could almost touch it, but I let things slide and have put on all the weight I had lost again. It is not that I eat too much, my diet has barely changed apart from a few extra chocolates over Christmas, the real problem is the lack of exercise.

I walk a lot, but walking with a meandering toddler does not really burn the calories and I need to focus on getting my heart rate up and properly burning those calories. One of the things that stops me doing that is not only the kids, but my lack of comfort. Being blessed with an ample bust was always a dream and years of breastfeeding has helped me realise my dream, but when it comes to brisk walking / running they are a real hinderance.

Thankfully Lingerie by Victoria has come to my aid and sent me the Freya Active Underwired BraΒ to review. Available up to a K cup, the underwired sports bra goes the extra mile with a wider curvature underwire for support and double fabric for comfort, in fact Freya is one of my favourite underwear brands as they always fit so nicely.

I have to admit it is not the prettiest bra in the world but what it does do is keep everything in place and really secure. I find even bouncing on the trampoline with the kids painful but this bra is amazing and there was no extra bouncing, if you know what I mean.

If your New Year’s resolution is to do more exercise then I can highly recommend the Lingerie by Victoria range as they have a great range of sports bra’s as well as swimwear and traditional lingerie for you to choose.

  1. I totally agree, the right bra is so important when it comes to exercise. I also need to get my arse into gear and lose some weight as a bit of a new year’s resolution, but then again I said that last year…

  2. I am really hoping to get my ‘body’ back this year. I have struggled with finding the time to exercise and have suffered with a few injuries but I am planning on starting with some gentle yoga and then building up the cardio. I never had boobs before children and whilst I’m still no Jordan, they certainly feel the bounce when exercising!!

  3. Happy New Year. That looks really comfortable. I’m on a mission to lose a little weight this year. The baby weight I put on 18 months ago is only just starting to shift.

    Good luck with your resolution.
