I don’t really do New Years Resolutions but there are some things I have let slip and need to regain control of and one of those things is controlling my weight.
Earlier this year I was so close to my target of 10 stone that I could almost touch it, but I let things slide and have put on all the weight I had lost again. It is not that I eat too much, my diet has barely changed apart from a few extra chocolates over Christmas, the real problem is the lack of exercise.
I walk a lot, but walking with a meandering toddler does not really burn the calories and I need to focus on getting my heart rate up and properly burning those calories. One of the things that stops me doing that is not only the kids, but my lack of comfort. Being blessed with an ample bust was always a dream and years of breastfeeding has helped me realise my dream, but when it comes to brisk walking / running they are a real hinderance.
Thankfully Lingerie by Victoria has come to my aid and sent me the Freya Active Underwired BraΒ to review. Available up to a K cup, the underwired sports bra goes the extra mile with a wider curvature underwire for support and double fabric for comfort, in fact Freya is one of my favourite underwear brands as they always fit so nicely.
I have to admit it is not the prettiest bra in the world but what it does do is keep everything in place and really secure. I find even bouncing on the trampoline with the kids painful but this bra is amazing and there was no extra bouncing, if you know what I mean.
If your New Year’s resolution is to do more exercise then I can highly recommend the Lingerie by Victoria range as they have a great range of sports bra’s as well as swimwear and traditional lingerie for you to choose.
My plan is to exercise more this year and I need a new sports bra so will give these a look.
I wish there were sports bras for us bigger chested ladies. My goal for 2016 is to go back to my level of fitness of a few years ago.
The website goes up to a K cup if that helps
This looks amazing. I have the same issue with any exercise but most sports bras just don’t cut it. I will definitely try this one.
I could do with investing in some new bras and this would suit for my yoga class.
This sounds like a effective bra offering support to those that work out π x

That looks great and it’s brilliant that it goes up to a K cup – thanks x x
I definitely need to try this! Thanks for posting, I always find bra shopping a right pain!
It’s hard to find good practical underwear when you have a large bust! It’s great that they go up to a size K
Sadly ample cleavage is not one of my problems – motivation to exercise is though! Maybe we should challenge each other?! Happy New Year x
I totally agree, the right bra is so important when it comes to exercise. I also need to get my arse into gear and lose some weight as a bit of a new year’s resolution, but then again I said that last year…
I used to be rather large of bust and I could never find a good sports bra. This sounds ace
I am really hoping to get my ‘body’ back this year. I have struggled with finding the time to exercise and have suffered with a few injuries but I am planning on starting with some gentle yoga and then building up the cardio. I never had boobs before children and whilst I’m still no Jordan, they certainly feel the bounce when exercising!!
I can do with investing in some new sports bras. This range sounds perfect.
Happy New Year. That looks really comfortable. I’m on a mission to lose a little weight this year. The baby weight I put on 18 months ago is only just starting to shift.
Good luck with your resolution.

This sounds great – I am hoping to power walk a bit more – even hat can be painful at times so will look into this bra, thank you. Kaz x
I definitely need a new sports bra and this one sound perfect – will check it out! x
Great review….the bouncing made me smile! I am so with you, desperate to lose some weight this year – good luck and have a great 2016!
