Project 366 2016 – Week Twenty Three

After the manic week that was half term, this week has been almost the opposite but we have made some achievements this week.

We ended last week at Butlins, getting the opportunity to dance with Diversity before watching them perform later in the evening before heading home – it really was an unforgettable experience.

Monday saw the kids go back to school whilst I caught up with washing. Looking at the weather forecasts for the week it looked dire, so I made the decision to restart Sebby’s potty training journey, which had failed a few weeks before as he was not ready. Surprisingly he has done brilliantly but we still have a way to go.

On Monday Eliza also got the chance to visit a fire station with Rainbows and had a blast, literally – she got to shoot water at cones with the fire hose.

On Tuesday the yellow cloud of doom weather warning for rain never showed up after a day at home, but it was a good day for Sebby to potty train. Isaac built a bug house in the garden and was pleased to find its residents, including this caterpillar.

On Wednesday Eliza had sports day and came second in all her races and her and Isaac had their swimming lessons in the evening.

On Thursday we had our first venture out to a friend’s house with the potty in tow and Sebby did brilliantly and even got to feed the fish and on Friday we dropped Isaac off for his very first cubs camp. He has stayed away from home before but we have always got to phone him, it is very strange not being able to contact him at all.

Saturday we headed to play crazy golf and the beach for a photo shoot with Bournemouth tourism and in the evening we went to the Mayflower to watch Mary Poppins – it was AMAZING!!

Here is our week in pictures:
