Last year we visited Bluebell Wood at Pamphill to see the carpet of bluebells for the first time.
It was there I took one of my favourite photographs of Eliza, so I was keen to go back this year to see if we could get some more photo’s of the kids.
Bluebell Wood is set on the Kingston Lacy estate in Dorset and we parked at Pamphill Green and took the short walk down a country path to the wood, which is gated off making it easier to find.
Isaac, Eliza and Sebby love being outside and remembered the wood from last year and set off to explore.
The smell of the flowers was almost intoxicating but it was the lure of climbing trees that go the kids most excited.
We spent a good couple of hours exploring the wood, playing hide and seek and attempting to take some good photo’s.
I may not have recreated my picture from last year, butΒ it was lovely to see Isaac and Eliza helping Sebby join in with their tree climbing fun.
Have you visited a Bluebell Wood this spring?
Beautiful family photos. I love bluebells. We have a field near us with some growing, but no where near as many as you!
Gorgeous! We went to find the bluebells last weekend and I had forgotten just how beautiful they are!! Lovely photos!
I love this time of year with the bluebells, what a lovely place to visit. Gorgeous photos of the little ones to treasure for ever π
What lovely pictures! It really shows off all the colour that is around when out and about at the moment
Pamphill bluebells really are beautiful, I can see why you went back again this year! The kids look like they had a wonderful time climbing trees surrounded by bluebells! It’s lovely to see the three of them playing and climbing together, I love the shots of Isaac and Eliza helping Sebby balance along the log.
Thanks for linking up with me on #CountryKids.
We didn’t actually manage to get to Pamphill this year unfortunately – it looks so beautiful and your photos are amazing. Will put it in the diary for next year though. Thanks for sharing #countrykids
These are lovely photos, we have never been to any bluebell woods as I don’t have a clue where any are local to us xx
It was definitely worth returning! A great set of photos π
Gorgeous photos, especially the one of your biggest two helping your youngest across the log.
We’ve been to bluebell woods but didn’t take photos! And I call myself a blogger…. tut!!
#countrykids
No we haven’t but the kids love exploring the outdoors so will check this out.
What a beautiful picturesque setting! So nice to capture happy family memories!
Grrr… Getting so jealous now! We don’t have any bluebell woods here in Luxembourg, but I was excited at the prospect of taking the opportunity when we visited Northern Ireland and Scotland over Easter. Unfortunately, we were too early (or too far north) – the bluebells were only just coming into bloom…
Great photos – you have given me some severe bluebell envy now π Greetings from Luxembourg and #CountryKids
Gorgeous photos. We are really lucky to have a bluebell woods over the road from us. It’s funny though we don’t notice a smell from ours.
Lovely photos, this looks like a really beautiful place.
Lovely photos. We managed to visit a bluebell wood before we came on holiday. So glad we did as I’d be gutted if we’d missed them x
What a fantastic place to visit! I absolutely love bluebells. Wish I had more time to spend in nature.
What beautiful photos you have managed to capture, and the bluebell carpet is very pretty #countrykidsfun
Look at those three together, they look like they are having a great time, I haven’t found anywhere near us for bluebells, but I shall keep looking!
Oh wow! That looks stunning, and somewhere else I need to add to my to do list! #CountryKids
Looks like such a lovely place to explore! Gorgeous photos as well xx #CountryKids
