Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match Review

Sebastian is dinosaur mad and one of his favourite TV shows is Dinosaur Train which teaches him about natural science, natural history and paleontology.

The TV series features Buddy, a preschool-aged Tyrannosaurus Rex, and his adoptive Pteranodon family travelling on a special train to meet all kinds of dinosaurs and explore the world inhabited by these amazing creatures.

Now there is a new app based on the popular Dinosaur Train TV Series from the Jim Henson company, Kuato Studios bring you Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match on iTunes and Google Play.

Dino Train

Sebastian loves to play games on the iPad, particularly when we are on a long car journey and as a parent I prefer educational games that help the kids with their memory skills and hand-eye coordination.

Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match is an educational game which unleashes your child’s creativity as they play along with Buddy the dinosaur and colour in 24 fun-filled pictures of his friends and their adventures!

Sebby can choose from a variety of pencils and brush sizes to colour in his pictures and can even print his creations to share their artistic talent with friends and family.

Once the kids have finished painting they can test their memory skills in 4 different levels with Mr Conductor, as they try to beat the clock and help him match up as many train tickets as possible.

Dinosaur Train: Paint and Match costs just 99p and is just one of the many games by Kuato Studios all of which can be found on the APP Store and Play Store.

  1. I’m not keen on too much game play on apps etc for young kids, but there are times when this is fine and dandy. Like you say, on long journeys for example. So it is nice to see a child friendly, themed app, and who doesn’t love dinosaurs. Lovely.
