We are big fans of Disney on Ice and last week the new show, Worlds of Enchantment arrived at the SSE Arena at Wembley.
I have to admit that despite leaving in plenty of time to get there, the M25 conspired against us and we made it inside the doors by the skin of our teeth to see the show and arrived just in time to see Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the Toy Story gang.
The story followed their adventures at Sunnyside Daycare from Toy Story 3, with the toys trying to escape from the rambunctious tots of Sunnyside Daycare, with some impressive kite flying by Woody, daring costume changes by Ken and of course a daring rescue by the cute aliens.
For the next performance we headed under the sea with Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder and friends for some colourful underwater fun and of course a spot fear with Ursula and romance as Prince Eric saved the mermaid from her clutches.
It was the next act that excited the kids most – Mater arrived to tow away Mickey & Minnie’s car which had broken down and brought all his friends from Radiator Springs to the ice to help fix it.
They raced across the ice doing some daring stunts and drifts, complete with pyrotechnics for added fun and looked just like the real characters from the films.
The final act of the evening was Frozen, with all our favourite sing-a-long songs including For the First Time in Forever, Love is an Open Door, Let it Go and In Summer as Anna and Elsa learned that true love comes from within. (I do wish they would add the Trolls to the act – they are my favourite).
Disney on Ice has been princess heavy in its previous shows, but this time the boys got to see their favourites too and are already looking forward to the next instalment.

Have you been to see Disney on Ice?
No, I haven’t. It looks great and my girls would love it. Although both of them now have OD’ed so much on Frozen that they hate it.
My boys went to see Disney on Ice when they were little but I didn’t go with them. I reckon I’d enjoy it though – I love watching ice-skating. I think Frozen would be my favourite part, too, although we used to love Mater in our house!
This came to Leeds last month and was REALLY popular! Kids were going mad for it and looking at your photos i’m not surprised!
I’m an adult but after reading this post and seeing the pics I really want to see this show! Looks amazing!
