Today is Star Wars Day, where fans of the media franchise celebrate all things Star Wars.
The date was chosen for the pun on the catchphrase “May the Force be with you” as “May the Fourth be with you” and if Isaac had been born on this date (his due date), his Star Wars mad Dad would have insisted his name be Luke.
Instead, Dad has brainwashed all the kids into loving his favourite films of all time, with Isaac wanting a Porg birthday cake and Sebby demanding a Star Wars party for his birthday.
To celebrate Star Wars Day, we were sent some Star Wars Costumes from Vegoo.co.uk for the boys to try.
Sebastian chose the Poe Dameron X-Wing Fighter costume from Star Wars VII™. It consists of a jumpsuit with the print of the Poe outfit in white and red and a solid plastic half mask with yellow film in front of the eyes.
Sebby loved racing around on his X-Wing Microscooter, dodging enemy fire as he scooted along!
Isaac chose the luxury Tango Black Star Wars™ costume, a white and black all-in-one suit printed in the style of a Stormtroopers armour with a white mask.
Of course, Daddy had to get something too and despite me planning to give it to him on Father’s Day, the kids persuaded me to let him have it today.
Meet BB-8™ – the app-enabled Droid™ whose movements and personality are as authentic as they are advanced.
Based on your interactions, BB-8 will show a range of expressions and perk up when you give voice commands. Watch your Droid explore autonomously, guide BB-8 yourself, or create and view holographic recordings. BB-8 is more than a toy – it’s your companion.
He has only been out to play from today, so we are still learning how to use him but we all agree he is awesome!! My full review will be coming soon!
Do you celebrate Star Wars Day?
Awww look at him so cute, I did not know it was Star Wars day 🙂
Lots of fun toys and dressing up outfits. I’m a bit of a Star Wars fan myself!
Unfortunately I didn’t do anything that Celebrate but a Star Wars marathon is on the cards! I love the bb8 x
I particularly like the Stoormtrooper costume. My little boy would definitely wear that!
Haha what some awesome costumes! It is great they are able to share such a love together as well 🙂
Loving the costumes. They are super cute.
Star Wars day is awesome and I love how people go through the effort of doing something Star Wars related. I love the costumes that your sons picked and I hope you guys had a lovely time celebrating Isaac’s birthday! That bb-8 is a must have!
I am not showing this to my kids / partner since they are all massive Star Wars fans and would definitely want to have a day to celebrate this!! Love the costumes.
My nephews would absolutely adore these outfits! Sadly my girls are not that Star Wars interested. I love that if Seb had been born on the 4th, he would have been called Luke.
Happy Star Wars Day to you too, your son looks super cute in the outfits. What a wonderful day to dress up and have so much fun!
Those costumes are super cute – you’ve got to love Star Wars day! BB8 is adorable.
Oh those outfits are so cute. My husband is Star Wars obsessed and wants to get all these things for our daughter.
I love how your site is laid out. We didn’t celebrate Star Wars day but I am loving the outfits and bb8
