I am very fortunate that my kids love to read and their current favourite author is David Walliams.
Isaac and Eliza have read all his books at least once and they also enjoy the TV adaptations that are normally on television at Christmas, with their favourite one being Gangsta Granny – Eliza even dressed up as Gangsta Granny for World Book Day, earlier in the year.
Now there is a fab new game from Paul Lamond based on the Gangsta Granny story called Gangsta Granny Stash the Swag Board Game.
This Gangsta Granny board game comes in a fantastic, durable tin box, just like the box which Granny kept all her loot in.
In the tin you will find:
- Game board
- 4 Granny & Ben play pieces
- 1 Queen play piece
- 24 Jewel tokens
- 2 Dice
The aim of the game is to collect all the letter ‘jewels’ to spell out the word GANGSTA, but watch out because the Queen is on the prowl and if you get caught by the Queen before stashing your jewels, they all have to be returned!
Each player moves by rolling both dice and moving the number on the white die for their piece and the number on the black die to move the Queen.
The game is aimed at children aged 7+, but Sebastian (6) enjoyed playing it too. He was especially excited by the Queen chasing the players around the board to catch the swag.
Thanks to the team at Paul Lamond Games, I have a copy of Gangsta Granny Stash the Swag Board Game to giveaway to one lucky reader.
