Back in August 2017 we were introduced to Super Wings which introduced us to fun-loving jet plane Jett, who delivers packages to children around the world in this animated series, broadcast on Cartoonito and Tiny Pop.
Jett teams up with the Super Wings, a group of airplanes that can transform into robots to tackle new challenges and work through issues that teach problem-solving skills and the importance of cultural diversity.
Now there is a new Super Wings magazine, based on the award-winning TV series for kids to enjoy and we were sent the first two issues to review.
Like the TV series, the magazine follows Jett and his Super Wings friends as they travel the globe delivering packages to children. With each delivery, the characters meet new friends and encounter new challenges, which they must work together to solve.
As keen travellers, I love that the magazine references different countries with some basic facts, aimed at children in KS1. There are stories to read, handwriting practice and games to play too, which will keep kids occupied for hours.

Each issue of Super Wings comes with an amazing bespoke gift, and includes stories, puzzles, colouring and much more and Sebastian could not wait to break his new toys free.
Issue one comes with a seven piece pay set which includes a huge map which Sebby adores, whilst the second issue comes with a Jett toy.
Also in the box was a Rescue Riders Sparky play set and a transforming Jett figure for him to add to his collection.
Sparky is the brave fire truck in Dizzy’s Rescue Riders team and is a fun, interactive toy. Push down the side handle for lights and sounds; Zoey, a cute helicopter, launches out and is ready to rescue.
The ladder can extend over 18 inches, pivots 360°, swivels down to the ground and includes a front platform that fits any of the 5″ Transforming Vehicles. There is also a detachable ladder to continue role playing and the water hose also detaches fits in the characters hands.
Super Wings Toys are suitable for children aged 3+ and are available from all good toy stores.

What an ace magazine with toys relating to the programme! I had never heard of Super Wings before, well beyond that stage now, but I am seriously jealous of all the programmes children can enjoy these days – times have certainly changed! Sim x
Ooo now I see this being a popular thing with kids. This looks very cool and it is a mix of play and learning too xx
Magazines like this are great as they have an educational element to them but are still very fun for the kids x

My children love magazines as they can read, do the activities and get a toy. I know my son would love the Super Wings magazine especially since the mag comes with a seven piece set
My kids would love the educational toys and the magazine can help with their reading. Good one.
My little boys have recently started watching SuperWings, I’m sure they’d love these! My eldest sometimes gets a magazine as a treat so I hope my local shop will stock this one!
Looks like a great magazine for fans of Super Wings. Nice that it features stories, puzzles and comes with a bespoke toy.
I often think kids magazines are a waste of money – but this one actually looks so good! Will check it out for my son 🙂
We used to love children’s magazines! I always bought them one for when we were flying somewhere!
