Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Where’s Spot?

Introducing children to reading at an early age helps to give them a real passion for books when they get older.

When you read to babies, your baby hears you using many different emotions and expressive sounds which helps to support social and emotional development.

Reading books and talking to babies helps them to build language skills by copying sounds, recognising pictures, and learning words and as they get older and more vocal, it will encourage your baby to look, point, touch, and answer questions and both Isaac and Eliza love reading to Lilah when she visits.

2020 is the 40th anniversary of the much loved Spot the Dog and to celebrate, we were sent Where’s Spot? to review, a classic bestseller containing simple text and colourful pictures.

Where's Spot_

In Spot’s first adventure children can join in the search for the mischievous puppy by lifting the flaps on every page to see where he is hiding.

Spot the Dog

To celebrate this very special anniversary, Rainbow Designs have launched the ‘Fun with Spot’ preschool toy range, with plush toys, activity toys and comforters.
