Keeping the kids entertained during the summer holidays is always challenge, especially as the kids have already had such a long time away from school.
We were invited to review Star Jarz from John Adams, which are unique, stylish keepsake jars which magically light up and the perfect boredom buster for a rainy day!
There are two Star Jarz to choose from, Secrets and Dreams and Best Friends Forever.
Each Star Jarz have 40 keepsake tokens to write down, colour and personalise either your secrets and dreams, or your favourite memories with details, names and dates.
You then post them through the slot and see your jar light up in a series of rainbow colours. Both Star Jarz come with batteries included, so they are ready to go straight away.
The kids especially enjoy posting tokens at night so they can see the lights better.
Both Star Jarz come with items to decorate the jar with, plus a booklet full of activities for the kids to do and interviews to fill in.
Both Sebby and Eliza enjoyed decorating the jars and writing fun facts about themselves. It really encourages them to use their imaginations and practice reading and writing, so we are going to use the Star Jarz to keep a fun diary of all the things that they are enjoying about the summer holidays.
Star Jarz are available from all good toys shops and have an RRP of £12.99.
oh these look great. I think I may have brought some of these for my niece and nephews last Christmas
These sound so cool and seem like they keep kids entertained for a good while! My niece would love these.
How lovely and cute! I have never heard of these before but love the fact they light up! Perfect for summer holiday play! Sim x
This is awesome. I love that it would inspire a child to be creative! If I would get one for my niece, I think she’d love that Secrets and Dreams Star Jarz.
I love the concept behind these jars; it’s almost like a form of mindfulness for children. It’s so healthy to spend time reflecting.
This is such a nice idea to promote memories and positive thinking, I love this idea. A bit like a memory jar in a way x
