Review: Little Live Pets Lil’ Dippers Playset

We are big fans of Little Live Pets in our house, having quite a collection, including mice, birds and even a hedgehog.

Little Live Pets are realistic animal toys that just love to interact with you and there are several species in the collection.

Now there are new Lil’ Dippers – fish that magically swims away in a fish tank.

We were sent the Little Live Pets Lil Dippers Fish Tank Playset to review.

In the box:

  • 1 x Fish tank
  • 1 x Unicorn Fish
  • 1 x Magnetic fish Feeder,
  • 2 x  tank accessories
  • Instruction manual

Setting Up:

It takes next to no time to set up, simply remove the packaging, attach your ornaments to the base of the fish tank and fill it with water.

Fish Tank

Next, dip the magic Lil’ Dippers packaging into the water and watch as your Lil’ Dipper swims around out of the pack.

With realistic side-to-side and up-and-down motions, these fish are so lifelike and interactive. They swim around for a good five minutes on their own, before going to sleep. To reactivate, simply put your hand in the water to activate the sensors.

Feeder

Each comes with a magnetic feeder, that your fish will follow around. There are 3 characters to collect, each with their own unique pattern and personality!

My only negative feedback to the set is that the tank does not come with a lid, so make sure that you put in somewhere that it won’t get knocked over and spilled.

The Little Live Pets Lil Dippers Playset has an RRP of £24.99 and each individual Lil Dipper is £12.99.

  1. What a unique playset! So bright and colorful. The magnetic feeders would make it look so realistic. Thanks for your honest review. Will recommend this to my cousin. Her daughters would love to have this.

  2. I have never seen anything like this but it seems like such a cool idea to teach kids how to look after a pet before getting a real one x

    • You can use any water container! So you can set up a 3- 5 gallon tank with light and put a couple fish in there. How easy! And better since this tank doesn’t have a lid.

  4. Can you comment on how much your child has played with this over time? My girls have been begging for this but I’m imagining that it’s the kind of thing that will be so much fun for a day or two and then will be ignored.
