Review: Olverum The Dry Body Oil

I don’t know about you, but I have been feeling a bit “meh” recently.

I am not sure whether it is because Autumn is here and the nights are drawing in, or the thought of another impending lockdown, but I have been on the hunt for things to help lift my mood.

I was invited to try the Dry Body Oil from Olverum.

I am already a fan of Olverum Bath Oil, which contains 10 pure essential oils, carefully blended to naturally relieve stress and help you achieve a great nights’ sleep.

Dry oils are great for keeping the skin moisturised, which is especially important as we start switching on the central heating.  The Olverum Dry Oil absorbs almost instantly, perfect for busy mum’s on the go, who just don’t have time to moisturise.

This therapeutic dry oil mist is enriched with Alaria esculenta extract, which is known to boost the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid, preserving skin’s firmness and elasticity, but more importantly, it combines over 30 essential and cold-pressed botanical oils, to leave skin with a delicate citrusy fragrance as well as feeling moisturised, smooth, and supple.

The oil comes in a bottle with a fine spray, so you can easily target the areas you wish to moisturise and then massage in, with it drying almost immediately, so no hanging around feeling sticky whilst it absorbs.

With my hands bearing the brunt of constant hand washing at the moment, the oil is also great for helping to keep them soft and supple. Simply spray a small amount of oil on the back of the hands and rub the residue into your palms. Getting little wafts of essential oils throughout the day is a wonderful pick-me-up!

Olverum The Dry Body Oil has an RRP of £40 and is available from www.olverum.com

  1. I really do love to use a range of body oils. This one sounds interesting. I love that it has a spray to limit the amount used.
