Review: Teva Original Universal Sandals

Finding comfortable shoes is something I am passionate about as I suffer from arthritis in my feet and often struggle to find the perfect pair.

I have been on the look out for a pair of sandals that will take me from the beach, around town and also suitable for walks.

I was invited to review a pair of Teva Original Universal Sandals.

TEVA Sandals

My first job was to pick my perfect pair, which is a mission in itself as there are so many wonderful colours to choose from.

In a world where we are trying to be more environmentally friendly, I was pleased to find that the sandals are vegan and finished with earth-friendly Unifi® recycled polyester straps that stand up to abuse while keeping plastic waste out of landfills. In fact each pair save 4 plastic bottles from ending up in landfills.

TEVA Sandals

The footbed is made from EVA, an elastomeric polymer that is “rubber-like” in softness and flexibility, with a rubber outsole for durability and traction.

The arthritis in my feet can cause them to swell and change shape, but the Universal Strapping System™ supports your foot and stands up to abuse. The easy hook-and-loop closure comes on and off quickly and gets the fit just right.

TEVA Sandals

The Teva Original Universal Sandals are so comfortable to wear and because the straps are quick-drying, I can go for a paddle in the sea with them.

They are so comfortable that I am now eyeing up a pair of Teva Hurricane sandals as they have a more rugged sole for hiking.

Teva sandals are available from www.teva-eu.com/en/gb/, ASOS, Office, schuh and Simply Be at an RRP of £40
