Review: Kids Against Maturity Game

Are you looking to get the kids of their games consoles over the summer and join in with some family fun?

Well, I have the perfect game for you to try: Kids Against Maturity.

Think Cards Against Humanity, but for the kids!! The game is filled to the brim with age-appropriate toilet humour and funny innuendos for the adults, meaning the game can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Kids Against Maturity is easy to learn and simple to play with the whole family. The only requirements are being able to read and having a sense of humour.

In the Box:

There are 600 cards in each pack with over 40,000 combinations of answers to keep everyone laughing!

How to to play:

Kids Against Maturity is easy to learn and simple to play with the whole family. The only requirements are being able to read and having a sense of humour.

Each player gets 10 white answer cards and takes turns asking the blue question cards.

Each question asker chooses the funniest answer, and the player with the highest amount of most amusing responses, wins the game. It is that simple!

Our thoughts

This is our new go-to game for the kids to play. They adore it because it’s so simple and makes them laugh until they can laugh no more. You can guarantee at least one of them is going to get a fit of the giggles at some point in the game.

The real added bonus for me, is that it encourages my reluctant reader, Sebby, to read out loud and it has surprised me at how fluent he really is.

The only downside is that this game was created in America and some of the phrases on the cards we don’t use here, or even understand what they are. We tend to skip these cards as there are plenty of others to choose from, but I would like to see a UK based version.

Kids Against Maturity is available from Smyths Toy Stores with an RRP of £19.99.
