This week felt very much like last week.
I am still covering long-term sick at work and I don’t think it is going to change anytime soon, so the blog work is starting to slip.
Here is our week:
Sunday 27th March
Mother’s Day and it was a fairly early start for us as not only did the clocks go forward, but Isaac had to be at school at 9am for Matilda rehersals.

My husband apologised for not getting me anything (he is isolating with COVID), but the kids made me some lovely cards which reveal my unhealthy obsession with Pokemon Go.

He did surprise me with tickets to go and see Westlife later in the year, so that is two concerts we are going to this year.
Monday 28th March
A work day for me and it was a day of decorating as Tesco turned pink to raise money for Cancer Research.

I’d love to say that I made the bunting, but it was my very talented friend Tracie. I did manage some floristry style bows though.

Tuesday 29th March
Spring has definitely arrived and everything is starting to look greener.

My husband is still testing positive for COVID and although he struggled with a headache for a few days, is now itching to go back to work.
Wednesday 30th March
We have a family wedding coming up next week and due to the lack of events in the past couple of years the kids have no smart clothes.

I couldn’t face taking them all together, so today was Isaac’s turn to choose his outfit. We trudged around all the shops, before deciding on the first outfit he saw!
Thursday 31st March
The temperature has really dropped and today we actually saw some snow flurries. Sadly it didn’t settle though.
Isaac finished school late thanks to Matilda rehearsals and I kicked myself for not getting a picture of the orange sky.

I did manage to get a small bit of it from Tesco carpark.
Friday 1st April
It is still freezing and I wasn’t prepared to have to defrost my car.

Saturday 2nd April
Another cold and frosty start.

Isaac had not one, but two parties today. It is so nice that he is able to get out with his friends again,
I took advantage of him not being around and managed to get Sebby and Eliza’s outfits ready for the wedding. All it took was a McDonald’s bribe.
How was your week?
Aww! What wonderful Mother’s day cards. Home made one’s are the sweetest.
Tesco is looking very pink. What a great cause to support. x
I love the Pokemum card. Lovely seeing the catkins on the trees at this time of year. Isaac looks very smart in his new outfit. Glad you managed to sort out Sebby and Eliza’s outfits too. Hope your husband is feeling better now. #project365
The cards for Monther’s Day are so lovely. I think they are better than shop-bought ones. Love the pink display too.
N’s the same as yours, no smart clothes. He does have jeans but never wears them them, so they’re wasted being in his wardrobe. Hopefully your husbands got a negative now and is feeling better.
We have the lack of smart clothes too! My boys live in jogging bottoms so they have to wear school uniform! Love the Pokemon card. #project365
Wow that was an early start for Mother’s Day, even without the clocks c hanging. I’ve not seen Westlife, but have been many times to see Boyzone. My kids wore school uniform to family do’s as they all had blazers as part of their outfits
There is nothing more beautiful than the Monther’s Day cards
