Project 365 2022 – Week 14

It has been a busy week and we are all exhausted.

We have had work, school, shows, a scout camp and a wedding to attend.

Thankfully everyone in our household is now healthy again and are looking forward to the Easter break.

Here is our week:

Sunday 3rd April

Isaac went to school for his final rehearsals for Matilda Jr the Musical and came home with not only a new hoody, but also the news that he had a second part now – Michael (Matilda’s brother).

He is very excited that he gets to wear his PE Kit all week and the hoody, to advertise the show to his school friends.

Monday 4th April

A hectic day for me. Eliza had an orthodontist appointment to tighten her braces and then I had a mad dash to work to do end-of-week before picking Lilah up from school.

After school, Lilah insisted on getting all her toys out and when I asked her to tidy up, this wasn’t quite what I had in mind!!

Tuesday 5th April

A rare day off work and school, as it was my brother-in-laws wedding, which was postponed from last year.

It was a lovely day and was really nice to catch up with friends and relatives that we haven’t seen for the last two years. The kids have still got the moves on the dance floor too.

Wednesday 6th April

I am not sure any of us were feeling work / school after a late night, but we all managed to get out of bed………just. The day was all about the evening and Isaac’s first performance to the public in Matilda the Musical.

Unfortunately pictures were not allowed, but safe to say the show was incredible and had us glued to our seats from beginning to end.

Thursday 7th April

At work, we do a lot of work with the local community and today I visited one of the local pantry’s, where some of our surplus food goes to see how their operation works and how we support them.

The evening saw us return to school for Isaac’s final performance in Matilda, but this time with all our local family in tow.

It was an even better performance than the previous night, as it was the kids final one and they were making the most of the stage. The audience was a sell out and the show finished to a standing ovation, as well as stamping, whooping and cheering.

Friday 8th April

The last day of school before the Easter break and the kids came out of school and Eliza and Isaac straight into Scout Camp.

Saturday 9th April

There were plenty of pictures coming out of scout camp and it was lovely to see the kids having lots of fun.

After work, Abbey and I headed to our local Body Shop for a blogger event. We got to test some of their new products and I managed to find some foundation that was suitable for my sensitive skin.

How was your week?
