It is October, where on earth has this year disappeared?
It is been a quiet week here, work has been stressful, so I am glad to see the back of this one.
Here is our week:
Sunday 25th September
We have a little visitor for her first overnight sleepover, as Abbey is heading to a conference in Leeds for work.

Abbey and Callan were good sleepers as babies, but the others were awful. Thankfully Lilah takes after her Mum and went straight to sleep at 7pm and we had to wake her the next morning for school.
Monday 26th September
A busy school run this morning with Lilah added into the mix, but everyone went in on time.

Eliza has scouts on a Monday and it is a bit of a shock dropping her off and picking her up in the dark. This fox decided to walk out in the road as bold as brass whilst I was waiting for her to come out.

Tuesday 27th September
Requests for charity donations has really picked up at work and I have been busy putting raffle prizes and food donations together for various charities.

It is not a very exciting picture, but it is my only one of the day!
Wednesday 28th September
My pre-school day, so a distinct lack of pictures. Thankfully my husband saved the day with a photo of two rabbits that came into his shop for adoption. He isn’t a rabbit lover, but even he was tempted by these two.

Thursday 29th September
The weather is definitely starting to feel more Autumnal now and I have noticed that the trees are finally starting to change colour.

Friday 30th September
Blogging has taken a real backwards step recently as I just don’t have anything to blog about, so I was surprised to be invited to the Body Shop to try their new Edelweiss range of skincare.

It replaces their Drops of Youth range, although after a skin dehydration check, it was discovered that my skin is very dry, so they recommended their Vitamin C range for me.
Saturday 1st October
Now the kids are in / heading towards their teens I am finding it a real struggle to get them out the house for days out and my planned visit to Blenheim Palace went out the window. Isaac wanted dropping to his friends house and Eliza had a friends birthday party, so Sebby and I headed into Bournemouth to see the Arts by the Sea festival that is taking place this weekend.

Sebby has been doing some activities on this at school and told me all about what was happening in this performance, which was all about global warming and our last chance to save the planet.

We wanted to go into the Luminarium, but the queue was massive and we had to leave to pick Isaac up. We are hopefully going to go back today, if I can prise the kids out of the house!
How was your week?
Aww! Lilah looks so small in the bed. She’s such a cutie!
Oh wow! That fox really was brave. Great photo!
It is hard work getting older kids out of the house. My youngest would much rather go out with her friends. Hmmf. It looks like you had a good time with Sebby.
The fox is very brave indeed, it’s lovely you could see her. The Luminarium was fun, I’ve been to one in Liverpool a few years ago. Such a different experience, well worth leaving home to do it. 🙂
The Body Shop range sounds good, I will look at in the shops. I am using a lot of their items because they are so good.
Glad Lilah slept well for her first sleepover with you. Those rabbits are gorgeous. The Arts by the Sea festival looked interesting. #project365
I am wanting a small pet so love the rabbit pic (not sure how pour puppies would cope though!). Love the fox pic, I saw a deer down my parents’ road over the summer but wasn’t quick enough with my phone (bit shocked too!) #project365
The Festival looks amazing, love the colours/lights in the last photo, could you go inside? Can’t believe how quick it’s become dark in the mornings and the evenings. Fab spot of the fox
Oh the rabbits are so cute. I miss having a rabbit.
The Luminarium looks interesting.
